    The Guardian, again, relates to Robert Wyatt, but this time, more on the lyrics of two songs written about war: Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are a-Changin’ and Robert Wyatt’s Shipbuilding, written by Langer/Costello.

    Costello’s observation”That we should be doing something beautiful, better than this” applies to most people’s actions most of the time. It is a call to honour our potential rather than squander it pursuing trinkets.
